Meet the Crew: Catie K.

We appreciate the feedback we’ve gotten about the Hearts Cut, and glad to hear that you enjoy it. A common request is that we feature more of our Crew! We love talking about our wonderful crew, so this week meet Catie! 

Catie’s been with Eight Oaks for three years, but when she’s not helping at the Farm Distillery and Kitchen you’ll find her working as a tech in the emergency room. 

In her freetime she’s always somewhere outside. Hiking, kayaking, swimming, or sitting in a lawn chair with an Eight Oaks cocktail in her hand. On those rare occasions she’s not outside, you might find her watching Grey’s Anatomy or cheering on the Bills. 

We’re not sure how much free time Catie will have come August, because that’s when she starts nursing school! 

Catie’s favorite Eight Oaks spirit is our Ocho Robles, with our Port Rye a close second. 

When it comes to quotes that guide her she has two: 

“Be grateful that certain things didn’t work out. Sometimes we don’t even know what we’re being protected from or where we’re being guided to when we’re in the midst of it all. That’s why we just have to trust that greater things are being aligned.”

AND

“You weren’t put on this planet to be like everyone else.”
