Meet the Crew: Renee S.

We appreciate the feedback we’ve gotten about the Hearts Cut, and glad to hear that you enjoy it. A common request is that we feature more of our Crew. We love talking about our wonderful crew, so we’ll kick this month’s feature off with Renee!

Renee joined us during our sanitizer project in March of 2020. Her other jobs closed down and she came to help us out during a time when we really needed all hands on deck. Here we are a year later and she’s still with us, crushing it at our Farm Distillery and Kitchen on the weekends. 

Renee comes from a big family, and grew up working on a hog farm and dairy farm, so she loves farm animals. In her free time you’ll find her with her highland cows, and her boyfriend Tim.

She also loves to travel and take photos. She has her own photography business you can follow on instagram, @schorranphotography. Renee’s favorite Eight Oaks Spirits are Ocho Robles or Pinot Noir Bourbon.

And a family favorite, “You owe your life to the chicken.” ~Dad.
