Hero's Cut Rye Whiskey
Our Bottled-in-Bond Hero's Cut Rye Whiskey is a five-barrel blend featuring two barrels aged four years and three barrels aged five years. Double-distilled and matured in new American white oak barrels with a Char #3 finish, it delivers a rich, well-rounded profile.
A portion of the proceeds support Firefighters through the Northwestern Lehigh Firefighter Foundation (NWLFF).
Distiller's Notes
With a mash bill of 80% Rye, 11% Corn, and 9% Barley, this whiskey offers a bold and spicy character balanced with subtle notes of sweetness from the corn and a richness from the barley. The extended aging brings out a harmonious blend of flavors, delivering a warm, smooth finish that embodies the essence of a true bonded rye.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of juicy cherry and apple mingle with a subtle, sweet smokiness, while the velvety smooth mouthfeel transitions to a classic rye spice finish. The grain flavors have melded seamlessly, offering a beautifully balanced sip that lingers on the palate.
