Double Cask Port Rye
After our initial Rye Whiskey process of in-house milling, mashing, fermentation, careful distillation, and barrel aging, we throw a wonderful twist on this traditional spirit by resting it in barrels once used for Port wine.
Distiller's Notes
Our Straight Rye Whiskey is blended and barreled in 59-gallon used Tawny Port barrels shipped from Portugal to accomplish an authentic port wine-tasting experience. These finishing casks soften the subtle heat of the Straight 2-year-old whiskey while providing familiar dessert wine flavors to make this whiskey an easy sipper.

Caramelized sugars with vanilla and chocolate-covered cherries.
MASH BILL:
— 80% Rye
— 11% Corn
— 9% Barley
AGED
Minimum 2 years in New American Oak Char #3. Select barrels are blended and transferred into Tawny Port barrels for an additional 6-9 months
