The Best Applejack Cocktails: How to Use Applejack

Fall will be here before you know it and that means it’s time to find that perfect spirit to warm your body and soul.

Although whiskey and bourbon are often thought of as warming spirits, Applejack or Apple Brandy combines the warming feeling you get from your favorite spirit with the classic flavor of fall. Applejack is truly like drinking liquid autumn. But how do you serve this unique spirit? What are the best cocktails to make this autumn?

We break down our favorite applejack cocktails for you to enjoy during the upcoming season.

Tessa’s Tea

Tessa’s Tea is a refreshing blend of mint, lime, and authentic Applejack. It’s that perfect cocktail to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.

2 oz. Mint Infused Authentic Applejack

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

Fill with your favorite Iced Green Tea

optional, for additional sweetness, add 1 oz honey

Garnish with Fresh Mint and Lemon Wheel

To infuse the Authentic Applejack simply add mint leaves to taste, and set for at least two days, but it can really sit for up to two weeks.

The Frontiersmen

The mix of citrus and Authentic Applejack makes The Frontiersmen the perfect Applejack cocktail for your late-summer parties.

2 oz Authentic Applejack

1 scoop of Pineapple Preserve

2 dashes of Greenhouse Citrus Bitters

1/2 oz -1 oz. Thyme Simple Syrup

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake well. Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with fresh thyme.

To make Thyme Simple Syrup:

Equal parts sugar & water

Fresh Thyme

Bring water to a boil, pour in sugar and stir, turn off the heat and add fresh thyme to taste. Let the syrup cool completely, remove the thyme, and store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to two weeks
