Eight Oaks Veterans Cut Bottled-in-Bond Whiskey is double distilled and aged to perfection in a hand-selected white oak barrel. Each Veterans Cut Bourbon barrel is signed by numerous veterans: Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines from around the country.
Distiller's Notes
Eight Oaks' first Bottled-in-bond exploration has become a staple spirit. This is a premium Bourbon Whiskey. Bottled-in-bond has strict federal regulations set in 1897 that distillers must follow, leaving the consumer with a delicious drinking experience.
Bottled-in-bond means the spirit must be produced in a single distillation season by a single distillery. The spirit must mature in a U.S. bonded warehouse for a minimum of four years. The aged spirit must be bottled at 50% ABV or 100 proof.
TASTING NOTES:
Bottled at a higher proof, this Bottled-in-bond Bourbon is more complex with longer barrel aging. Notes of charred wood sugar, raw cocoa, sweet corn, and a lingering creamy finish.
